Conifer Town Center

Conifer Town Center is a $65 Million development headed by Trammel Crowe of the Denver Tech Center.  This is a 40 acre construction site that will become the home to many well known stores and restaurants.

The anchor store is Safeway.  Conifer has had one of the nation's busiest Safeways and now will have one of the biggest.  This safeway just opened up in November of 2006 and has dazzled residents with its size and selection.

Also to be added in 2007 are major conveniences like Sonic, Chili's Restaurant, Heidi's Deli, SushiHai, Anthony's Pizza and Pasta, Lucille's Italian Steakhouse, Great Clips and more.

This influx of business as well as the easy commute to and from Denver is expected to have a significant impact on the real estate market here in Conifer.  Home prices in Conifer have remained relatively flat for the past three years but many experts believe that the hidden secret that is Conifer will be quickly discovered creating a nice boom in the real estate market here for the foreseeable future.

The median home prices in Conifer are averaging about $300,000.  Experts expect that to pick up in the next year and are hoping to see a 7-10% home price appreciation.

Whenever new developments like the Conifer Town Center are added to a community like Conifer, invariably the impact on growth will be a positive one.  The plans were in the development stages for years.  The major issue with progress being the concern for water.  Since there are no public water sources in Conifer, which also has an impact on Conifer real estate, the only way to supply water for the Conifer Town Center stores and restaurants was to utilize a large well system that took quite some time to put together and get state and county approval.
